Student Council

Student Council is a program offered for 4th & 5th grade students. Students must submit a letter of intent to the Student Council teacher stating how they can make a difference at Wild Rose and why helping others is important to them. The main goal of student council is to teach students how to become leaders in their school by helping out in extra curricular activities that involve giving back to others.

Our activities include the following:

  • Assisting the principal with assemblies
  • Assisting with the recycling program
  • Collecting funds for Pennies for Patients.
  • Collecting box tops and ink cartridges (a part of our all school fundraisers)

Our meetings are on Thursdays at morning recess.

Mrs. Jenni Tubbs is the teacher leader of Student Council. She is extremely proud of watching the council members learn to work as a team by learning how to make group decisions that benefit the school. This year’s students are eager to work hard to help the students at Wild Rose!
