MONROVIA - Alison Meloserdoff, a distinguished educator from Wild Rose School of Creative Arts, has been named one of the 2023-24 Los Angeles County Teachers of the Year by the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE).
Her exceptional dedication to education and innovative teaching methods have earned her this prestigious recognition among the educators celebrated at the LACOE's 42nd Annual Teachers of the Year Awards banquet.
"I have only ever taught in Monrovia Unified School District," said Meloserdoff. "I am the educator that I am because of my mentors, my colleagues, and the students of Monrovia. So, to be named a teacher of the year for Los Angeles County is truly not only a personal accomplishment. This is also a reflection of the inspiring work Monrovia educators and students are doing. They are my teachers."
